In Grades K-5, students will read the story Sonia’s Digital World by Shannon McClinktock Miller to discuss how we use digital tools to communicate and learn new things. Students will follow Sonia’s virtual trail all around the world as kids and families make discoveries and connections. In this lesson, students will discuss what it means to be a digital citizen and how Leland’s achievements relate greatly to his own digital journey and being a responsible digital citizen.
