Leland Melvin is a true renaissance man, his book chronicles his life as a NASA astronaut, a science education policy advocate, an NFL football player, and a material scientist.

Mr. Melvin also discusses his deep appreciation of nature, photography, music. Through this series we aim to highlight the science of space and how it is related to all disciplines including the humanities, science, math and the arts.

This program is intended to bring together students of all ages K-12 as well as members of our community.
